Thanks to Waitress, critics and audiences are rediscovering Andy Griffith. So maybe he'll finally get that Oscar nomination he deserved for A Face in the Crowd? (Come to think of it, he should have received a nod for Hearts of the West as well.)

I loved the Andy Griffith Show....so much so that I bought the entire DVD set! Andy deserves that star, for all the joy and pleasure he gave to untold millions over the years. What a terrific, versatile actor he is.
He also made two CD's,of timeless, favorite hymns which I also purchased.....one set for my Dad and one set for me. They are quite good. A very talented man, indeed!
